Hello, my name is Yvette. I grew up in a home marked by domestic violence and abuse, where fear and instability shaped much of my early life. After becoming a Christian more than 30 years ago, I discovered, through my own healing journey, that true and lasting restoration comes only through the transforming power of God’s Word. As a believer, I realized that secular counseling alone could not reach the depth of what needed healing in me, because my entire understanding of the world, suffering, and identity was rewritten when I met Christ.
As God began to heal my heart, I sensed a call to bring that same healing to the body of Christ. I came to believe that when the Church integrates biblical truth with evidence-based care, we can witness God’s power to heal and transform lives from the inside out.
That conviction led me to enroll in Biblical and Theological Studies at Trinity International University in Deerfield, and subsequently transferred to Loyola University of Chicago to earn a Master of Social Work degree with an emphasis in Clinical Mental Health.
Today, as clinical director and psychotherapist at InTouch Mind Health and founder of Living Christianly, I unite clinical excellence with biblical truth to help people find the same healing and freedom that I found in Christ.
Living Christianly was born out of the passion to equip believers with biblical teaching, practical tools, and guided resources to overcome struggles such as shame, anxiety, and spiritual bondage, so that the lives of Christians will bear testimony to the transforming power of God's word and the victory over darkness that is found only in Christ.

Hi, I’m Yolanda. My story is one marked by God’s renewing grace, and I truly believe that same healing and restoration is available for you as well.
In high school, I asked God for direction about my future. He gave me a vision of the community center I had attended as a child, and I knew in my heart that’s where I was meant to be.
Today, I’m living in my purpose as a Christian counselor, offering therapy that’s rooted in both clinical expertise and biblical truth.
Once a child in a blended family and now as a mother of a blended family and someone who has personally walked through anxiety, family trials, and loss, I understand what it means to wrestle with pain and to find healing in the presence of God.
As a group therapist facilitating psychoeducation on coping skills, I have experienced firsthand the power of vulnerability and the importance of safe spaces. When group participants show up authentically with the willingness to be vulnerable, real trust, growth, and restoration are possible.
One of my favorite phrases is “No rain, no flowers.” It reminds me that the storms of life are often the very soil where beauty begins to grow.
Today, one of the ways I live out my purpose as a therapist at InTouch Mind Health is by offering a safe space for others to process their storms. I help people uncover the roots of their pain and gently guide them to uproot the weeds that hinder growth—preparing the soil of their hearts to receive new seeds of hope, redemption, joy, and self-understanding.

Hello, I am Shari. Growing up, I wanted to be that person who could really listen and guide others through the tough seasons of life. As a PK and later a youth pastor, I spent years walking alongside young people—hearing their struggles, hopes, and fears. That shaped my heart for helping others and confirmed my calling to this work.
When I moved to the United States during my early teenage years, I experienced firsthand the challenges of adjusting to a new culture while still trying to figure out who I was. That journey gave me compassion for anyone navigating transitions, identity, or feelings of not belonging.
Today, in my professional role as a therapist for InTouch Mind Health, I bring all of those experiences together—my faith background, my cultural journey, and my passion for helping people—so I can create a safe, understanding space for healing and growth. Helping people isn’t just my profession, it’s my purpose

Hi there, my name is Mayte. For nearly 20 years, I’ve had the joy of serving alongside my husband in ministry as a pastor’s wife in a Spanish-speaking church. From an early age, I felt drawn to listen, encourage, and care for others — a gift God later revealed to be part of my calling.

Today, that same calling continues to guide my work as both a pastor and a counselor. My greatest passion is to walk with people through their moments of struggle, to bring peace where there is pain, and to remind them of God’s nearness to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18).
For me, caring for others is more than a job — it’s a ministry of presence, compassion, and hope. I believe healing happens when faith, counsel, and community come together under the grace of God. That’s why I’m so passionate about the mission of Living Christianly — a ministry that helps individuals engage in their own healing and transformation journey through Christ.
I’m especially excited about the work of Care & Grow Groups, where churches can become places of grace and restoration, helping people grow stronger in faith, relationships, and emotional health together.
